Mamduh Waheed, Lone Man Father Resembler, 2003

Mamduh Waheed, Lone Man father Resembler, Pen on Paper, 3 x 4 inches, 2003
I made this sketch while waiting in the bus station at Huddersfield, UK, where I was a student at the University. Although I had scribbled ‘Huddersfield Bus Station’ on the sketch, later I referred to it as ‘Lone Man Father Resembler’ because I thought he looked like my father from this particular angle. I am still very fond of this drawing.
