I’d be very interested to learn about the origins of this mysterious dance. Thanks for the notice.

drawing human form is forbidden in islam and for a very good reason. Think about the waste of money on arts globally and how much hunger is there throughout the world. Large sums of money change hands in art auctions and rich ppl buy these ‘masterpieces’ and have them in their private collections which doesn’t benefit anyone except inflate their ego a little bit… and think of the rest of humanity going hungry…

halo Idrees, i think you don’t know Islam very much because it allows for different interpretation. I think you have a very extremist understanding of Islam. And to my understand and as many people believe Islam does not forbid drawing the human form. Its people like you who make it forbidden.
I think the large sums people pay for the artworks benefits the artists, so it is helping to create jobs and employment. AS you know a lot of people who think they know religion do nothing but grown their beards, marry too many people and produce too many children and do not work enough to feed their families and expect god to do it. You should learn to see the beauty of life so you can also appreciate the human form and other artworks.
thanks,
Aslam
